We are so excited to welcome your children back to Stockwell Academy and hope you have had an amazing summer! PE

We have PE every Monday. Children must come to school in their PE kit. There is an expectation that children stick to the school PE kit list.

Children with long hair must have it tied back, and no jewellery should be worn.

 

Seesaw

Seesaw is the online platform which we use to share learning. It is also one of the main ways we can contact one another in 1S. I check seesaw regularly and aim to reply the same day to messages left. 

Please ensure you sign up to Seesaw so that you don't miss out on any key information or updates on your children in school.

 

Boom Reader

Reading is something we are extremely passionate about at Stockwell Academy. Your homework in Year 1 begins with reading at home. Please ensure you read regularly with your child. We expect at least 3 times per week. 

This year we are recording the reading done in school and at home on the Boom Reader app. Children need to bring their books back daily, and these will be changed weekly. Reading is truely the most important way you can support your child at home.
