Welcome to 3L
First, a BIG thankyou must go to all the children for their resilience and understanding of all the changes the school have had to put in place to keep everyone safe. The children have been very respectful of these changes and followed the rules fantastically. Mrs Gibson and Mrs Lount continue to be immensely proud and pleased to be teaching your wonderful children for the rest of this academic year.
As our learning journey continues, we know that the children will enjoy many of the things we have planned.
There are a few changes that are worth noting.
P.E. ALL children MUST come to school in their kit (white T-Shirt and black shorts/leggings or joggers.) Children with long hair are expected to have it tied back and NO jewellery to be worn.
Mrs Lount’s class has changed and will now be on a Wednesday and Mrs Gibson’s class continues to be on a Tuesday.
Please remember the value we place on reading and have amended the plans for home reading books. Please be mindful of the changes we have put in place to enable us to still send reading books home for the children. Books will be changes on a Tuesday and Friday. The books that are returned are put away for 3 days to ensure we are not passing any opportunity for Covid to be transferred. We ask the children to read at least 3 times a week. As the Reading Reward Cards are not coming home, please feel free to message us via Seesaw and advise us of reading done at home so that we can add the reward stamps onto their Reading Reward Cards.
This term our Topic work is learning about ‘Romans’ and in Science ‘Forces and Magnets and Plants’
Summer term Topic will be ‘What makes the world angry?’ and in Science ‘Light’
The children will continue learn to play a range of Samba’s on the Drums, taught by the Hull Music Service.
