Happy New Year - 2023
Firstly, Happy New Year to all our pupils and familes. We are excited for this half term we have a lot of exciting topics to cover. We will be studying the Romans this half term looking into their History and their Art work in mosaics.

PE and outdoor learning

P.E. ALL children MUST come to school in their kit (white T-Shirt and black shorts/leggings or joggers.) Children with long hair are expected to have it tied back and NO jewellery to be worn. PE will be every Thursday.

Spellings and Homework.

Spelling homework will be sent home every Friday, the children will be given one week to learn the spellings. We will then do a Spelling test on a Friday. We will also be sending homework with the children on a Friday. This will include a lot of timestables practice to prepare the children for the Year 4 National Timestables Test.

Seesaw

I ask that all parents have seesaw connected for this school year, I use seesaw to pass on important messages, share class updates,

Go Read/Boom Reader App

This year the children will bring home reading books as normal, but we are asking parents to sign upto Go Read/Boom Reader App to record their childs reading. You can record when they read their school book or any book they have read at home. We ask that every child reads at least 3 times a week. Children need to bring in their books daily and they will be changed weekly.
