Pupil Leadership - Autumn 2018
Welcome to our new Pupil Leadership Team!
The Pupil Leadership Team is made up of one nominated child from each class, these pupils are voted for by their class peers. They meet regularly to discuss ways forward for the school. Minutes are taken in the Pupil Leadership book then passed on to Mr Coulter who reads through and actions any ideas.
This year we have decided that every full term we will elect a new member from each class. This will allow more children the opportunity to become part of a team that represents their class and feeds back their own ideas to Mr Coulter.
Last year the Pupil Leadership managed to raise money for the school through a number of cake/bake stalls on the playground and in the hall. The children were also involved in creating a tea towel to represent Stockwell's 60th birthday.
Our year six representatives also have the opportunity to meet with the other schools in the HCAT family, they have been involved in speaking to pupils and carrying out learning walks.
Every leader is given a pupil leader badge and are expected to set a good example re uniform, behaviour and manners.
